Hampton Comicon 2021
If you are looking to practice your people photography, I personally recommend attending any fantasy/comic/gaming convention (cons).
Almost all costumed attendees expect to be photographed and interacted with, but you get better results if you ask first.
Doctor Who and Friends
My favorite shot. I used the new Photoshop Neural Filters (Depth Blur) to create the bokeh on this one. 40mm 2.8 1/60 sec with monopod.
...cons can be exhausting.
Dancing - These ladies chose to cosplay characters, Narancia Ghirga (left) and Trish Una (right) from the Manga comic Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
A fusion character - "Alex Wonka and the Clockwork Factory"  Fusing Alex from the film A clockwork Orange and Willy Wonka.
Is that Jennifer Lawrence? Unknown character portrayal, but she was quite popular. I simply didn't think to ask.
The best Loki - Once again, Photoshop's neural filters depth blur pushed jealous Skeletor back some..
Skeletor, the main antagonist from the He-Man animation franchise. He's at a lot of cons.
Alex Wonka also loves taking photos.
...and the bizarre!
"Trish Una" complementing the character "Keigi Takami" from the manga comic series "My Hero Academia"  on his costume design.  He said the wings were "...quite heavy!"
Once again, "Trish Una" from "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" posing for us.
"Keigi Takami" from the manga comic series "My Hero Academia"
Steampunk enthusiasts abound as well. She laughed because I caught her using modern technology to communicate with her airship.
A quick shot of Jupiter from Sailor Moon (left) with a character I don't recognize. Peace man!
Alex Wonka bids you farewell! "Thank you for visiting my clockwork factory."
